  • Workshop on the use of SCFRC in prestressed elements, held at Queen’s University of Belfast, 9th July 2014. Keynote lecture by Visitant Prof. Jose Rocio Marti Vargas, from Universitat Politècnica de València (Spain).   • Participation in the Nuffield Research Placements programme (Sentinus), the high-school student Miss Katie McKenna took part in the research activities of the project for a period of 4 weeks (July-Aug 2014).
  • Invited keynote lecture about the project’s involvement with sustainability of construction materials and construction technology, addressed to the general (non-specialist) public. Title of the lecture: “With all stones we make a wall: new materials for new infrastructure”. Delivered by Dr Garcia Taengua on the 7th November at Gandia (Spain), part of a series of lectures on science and technology organised by Gandia City Hall.
